BTCC, the world's longest-running cryptocurrency exchange, reported a record-breaking 2025 with $3.7 trillion in total trading volume and an 11 million-strong global user base—a 60% annual increase. The exchange is now pivoting toward AI-driven trading tools and real-world asset (RWA) offerings as it approaches its 15th anniversary in 2026.

Futures trading dominated volumes at $3.27 trillion, while spot markets accounted for $431 billion. Tokenized RWAs saw explosive growth, with quarterly volumes surging from $1.2 billion in Q1 to $22.7 billion by year-end, totaling $53.1 billion for 2025.

Monthly Proof of Reserves audits maintained transparency, consistently showing reserves above 100%. Product upgrades included a platform-wide UI overhaul, enhanced VIP tiers, and TradingView integration for futures.

The exchange amplified its global footprint through marquee events—participating in TOKEN2049's Dubai and Singapore editions, hosting Tokyo's Summer Festival, and sponsoring charity golf tournaments that raised over $100,000.
